Make a free RSVP page for a birthday, shower, or party with AI
Quick answer
Evite's free invitations and Partiful take RSVPs at no cost, and a free Paperless Post design is free to share by link. Punchbowl starts with a 7-day trial. To use a party page ChatGPT or Claude wrote, publish it on Convika with a reply form: each reply is emailed to you and listed in your dashboard.
Free plan: no credit card, 1 published page, 50 form entries a month shown and emailed.
On this page
You're hosting a birthday, a baby shower, a graduation, or a team party. You want one page with the when and where, a way for people to say they're coming, and a list of who said yes. An invitation service does that for free, with some limits. A page ChatGPT or Claude writes can do it too, once its reply form is connected to something.
This guide compares the free routes, gives you instructions for the AI, and shows how to add a reply form, publish, and share the page by link or QR code. Planning a wedding instead? The wedding RSVP guide compares Zola, The Knot, and Joy.
The Evite, Partiful, Paperless Post, Punchbowl, and Google pages quoted were read on November 1, 2026.
Free RSVP websites compared
Evite, Partiful, and Paperless Post each have a free route. Evite's help says designs labeled Free "cost nothing to send unless you add a Premium upgrade", and an RSVP deadline is one of those upgrades. Partiful's help says its "core platform is free to use". Paperless Post's guide to its Shareable Link says "Free designs are always free to distribute via Shareable Link." Punchbowl has no free plan: new customers "can send invitations for free during your trial period", and then the membership begins. A Google Form makes a plain reply list.
A page made by AI fits a narrower case. You get one page in the design you asked for, with your details and a reply form. It does less than an invitation service: no reminders and no guest list of who hasn't answered. Choose it because you want that page.
| Route | Cost on the free route | Guests | Ads or branding | Replies and questions |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Evite | Free designs cost nothing to send; an RSVP deadline, ad removal, and envelopes make it Premium, from $17.99 for up to 12 guests | Free invitations support up to 750 guests | Ads on free invitations ("No ads" is a Premium feature) | Your guest list; its export lists name, email or phone, RSVP status, party size, and comment (Evite's help doesn't say on which plans) |
| Partiful | Core platform free; premium invite designs are optional purchases | Unlimited by sharing the link; up to 1,000 invites an event sent through Partiful | Its RSVP page says "zero ads" | Guests "respond from a link, no account needed" |
| Paperless Post | Free designs are free to share by Shareable Link; paid designs and features cost Coins | Unlimited free sends of a free invitation's Shareable Link | Paperless Post doesn't say | Your event's guest list; on a paid link, RSVPs past what you paid for stay hidden until you pay more Coins |
| Punchbowl | No free plan: a 7-day free trial that starts with your payment details, then a monthly membership | Plus: up to 50 guests per event | Ad-free with Platinum | Track RSVPs on Plus, Premium, and Platinum |
| Google Forms | A Google account; the Google pages read state no price | Google doesn't say | Google doesn't say | Summary and Individual tabs, a linked Google Sheet, a CSV download; multiple choice and dropdown questions |
| A page ChatGPT or Claude made, with a Convika form | Convika's Free plan, no card | 50 replies a month shown and emailed on Free; later ones are saved and show on Pro | The Convika bar at the foot of the page on Free | An email per reply, a list with each reply's time, and Download CSV; a form the AI wrote keeps its own fields, yes or no buttons and a headcount included |

What the RSVP page needs
Guests open the page to answer one question, then come back for the details. Give the AI these, in your own words:
- What the party is for, and who is hosting
- The date, the start time, and the end time
- The place, with a link that opens it in a maps app
- The reply-by date
- What guests should know: what to wear or bring, parking, gifts or no gifts
- What you want each reply to tell you: coming or not, how many, kids, food allergies
Leave the guest list off the page. On Free, the page is Public, so anyone with the link can open it, and it may show up in search results. If the party is at your home, think about giving the street address in the message you send with the link instead.
Ask the AI for the page
Paste this into ChatGPT or Claude, and fill in the brackets. It asks for one file, which is what you upload, with a reply form that has a Yes and a No button and a headcount. The page has no JavaScript, so Convika can find the form, which sends nowhere until step 2 connects it.
Make a one-page party invitation as one HTML file, with the CSS inside and no JavaScript.
- What and who: [Maya's 7th birthday party, hosted by Sam and Lee]
- Date and time: [Saturday, November 21, 2026, 2 pm to 4 pm]
- Place: [Riverside Park, Pavilion 3, 100 River Rd, Springfield], with a link that opens it in a maps app
- Good to know: [wear clothes for the bounce house; no gifts, please]
- An RSVP section that says the reply deadline: [November 14]
- In the RSVP section, one form with: a "Your name" text field named "name", "Coming?" as two radio buttons named "coming" with the values Yes and No, a "How many of you?" number field named "guests", a "Food allergies" text area named "allergies", and a "Send my reply" button.
- Give the form no action and no onsubmit.
- Make every link a plain <a href> link with no onclick, the map link and any "Add to calendar" link included.
- Large text that reads on a phone held upright. No image files; use colors, type, and emoji for the look.
- Don't add a guest list.
Read every line before you publish. The AI can get a date or a time wrong, and it may add details you never gave it.
Or start from Convika's template, with no account. On the event page template, describe your party under What should yours be?, and name the questions the reply should ask, such as "name, email address, coming (yes or no), how many of you". Keep each question short, 40 characters at most: a longer one is left out of the form. Click Make my event page. Convika's AI makes a preview that works for 3 minutes. Publish and send it to friends signs you up free and moves the page into your account. Convika then makes the reply form from the questions the AI wrote into the page, one text field each, up to 6. Neither the page nor the first preview shows those questions, and the dashboard can't change a form's fields later. So before you publish, click Open preview on the page's screen and check that the form asks what you need. If it asks only for a name and an email, the AI left your questions out: make the page with the steps below instead.
Add the reply form and publish in 4 steps
1. Upload the page and keep it
Drop the .html file into the box at the top of this page, or switch to Paste code and paste it. Click Get my preview link to check the layout. That link works for 3 minutes, with scripts and forms off, so never send it to guests. Click Keep this page — free, no card and sign up. The page moves into your account.
2. Connect the reply form
On the page's screen, Convika says "A form on this page sends entries nowhere", because the AI's form has nowhere to send yet. Click Connect this form. The form keeps its own fields and look, the Yes and No buttons and the headcount included, and Convika makes a new preview that sends each reply to you. If the notice instead names a reason the form can't keep its fields, such as radio buttons without a name, ask the AI to fix it. Then, under Update from an HTML file on the page's screen, click Upload a new version and upload the new file.
No such notice? A script on the page may open a link or send the form, and Convika then leaves the form alone. Ask the AI to remove every script and onclick, then upload the new file the same way.
No form on the page? Ask the AI for an empty <div data-convika-form></div> where the form goes, and click Add a form to my page. Pick Name, email, and message, and in Label for the message field write what guests should answer, such as "Coming? How many of you, and any food allergies?" This form has text fields only, so the label tells guests what to type. Untick Required next to the email field if guests may not want to give one. Change Button text to "Send my reply", and Message after someone sends it to "Thanks! See you there." Click Add form to my page. The form goes where the AI left the empty spot.
3. Publish the page
Click Publish page. Under Who can open this page?, choose Public and click Next. The first time, click Publish free. Under it, Publish without the Convika bar opens an order for Pro monthly ($12 a month, after a free 1-day trial with a card). The page goes live at an address like yourpage.convika.page, with a small Convika bar at the foot of the page.
4. Send a test reply, then share the page
Open the live address on your phone and send a test reply. Replies sent from a preview aren't saved, so test on the live page. Your reply should appear under Forms on the page's screen and arrive by email. Then send the address to your guests, or click Show QR code next to the Live URL and click Download PNG for a printed invitation.
Share the link, or print the QR code
- In a group chat, a text, or an email, paste the live address. It opens in the guest's browser, with no app. How to share an HTML file on WhatsApp covers why a link works where a file attachment doesn't.
- On a printed invitation or a flyer, place the PNG next to the reply date, such as "Scan to reply by November 14". Print the address too, for guests who would rather type it. Scan a proof with 2 phones first: How to turn an HTML file into a QR code has the print checks.
You can change the page after the invitations go out, and the address stays the same when you publish a new version. Start each change from the page as Convika keeps it, with its form connected:
- Under Update from an HTML file on the page's screen, click Upload a new version.
- In the box titled "Latest version (v2) as HTML" (the number is your latest version's), click Copy HTML. Paste it into the chat with your change, and ask the AI to keep the form as it is.
- Upload the AI's answer with Upload as a new version, then click Publish v3 at the same link (its number is the new version's).
Or type the change into Edit with AI, then click Publish. Every link you sent and every printed code opens the new version. Don't upload a file the AI made before you connected the form: it brings back the AI's own form, which sends nowhere, and Convika adds the connected form again near the end of the page, so guests see two.
Keep the page published until the party is over. If you click Unpublish, the link and the code stop opening it. On Free, a workspace keeps 1 page live at a time. Publishing a different page next asks you to choose: Light ($3 a month on top of Free, for up to 5 live pages; the Convika bar stays) or a swap, which turns the party page back into a draft. This is the rule for workspaces created on or after October 23, 2026 (Japan time).

See who's coming
Each reply is emailed to you as it arrives. On the page's screen, under Forms, click View entries to see them all, each with the date and time it came in. Download CSV gives you the list for a spreadsheet. Convika lists each reply and doesn't total them, so add up the headcounts in the spreadsheet.
On Free, Convika shows and emails the first 50 replies a month, counting every form in your workspace. Replies past that are still saved, and Pro shows them. Count your guests against that number before you send a big open invite.
Who sees your guests' answers
Replies go to you: your dashboard and your email. The page never shows one guest's reply to another, and Convika's visit stats count how many people opened the page, never who.
The page itself is Public on Free: anyone with the link can open it, including anyone a guest forwards it to, and it may show up in search results. Convika's gallery doesn't take pages with a form. Private link keeps the page out of search results, and Only people with the password shows a password screen first. Both come with Pro ($12 a month), which also removes the Convika bar.
Your guests' replies are personal data. Ask only for what you need, such as a name and a headcount, and delete the exported file and the reply emails once the party is over. Convika's Privacy Policy covers what Convika stores.
What this page doesn't do
- No reminders. Convika sends nothing to guests, and doesn't know who hasn't replied.
- No reply email to the guest. They see a thank-you line on the page.
- No running headcount. Each reply is listed on its own; you add up the total.
- No photo sharing, gift registry, or polls.
Evite, Partiful, and Punchbowl do several of these. If you need them, that's the reason to pick one of them.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a free RSVP website?
Yes. Evite's free designs cost nothing to send unless you add a Premium upgrade, Partiful's core platform is free, and a free Paperless Post design is free to share by link. Punchbowl starts with a 7-day trial and then a membership. To use a page ChatGPT or Claude made, Convika's Free plan publishes it with a reply form and no card.
How do I make an RSVP form for free?
Ask ChatGPT or Claude for a one-file party page with an RSVP form that has no action, with Yes and No buttons and a headcount, and upload it to Convika. On the page's screen, click Connect this form: the form keeps its own fields, and each reply is emailed to you and listed under Forms. A Google Form is another free route.
Can I make a birthday invitation with RSVP for free?
Yes. Ask an AI for a one-page birthday invitation with the date, the place, and an RSVP section, publish it on Convika's Free plan, and send guests the link. Evite and Partiful also make birthday invitations with RSVPs for free. Evite charges for some extras, such as an RSVP deadline.
Can I make a baby shower RSVP website for free?
Yes. Ask ChatGPT or Claude for a one-page baby shower invitation with the date, the place, a registry link if you have one, and an RSVP form, then publish it on Convika's Free plan with the form connected. Evite and Partiful also take RSVPs for free. Evite charges for some extras, such as an RSVP deadline.
How do I put a QR code on an RSVP?
Publish the RSVP page first, then make the QR code from its address. On Convika, click Show QR code next to the Live URL and click Download PNG. Print the code next to the reply date, and scan a proof with 2 phones before you print every card.
Do guests need an account to RSVP?
No. On a Convika page, guests fill in the form in their browser with no app and no account. Partiful's page also says guests "respond from a link, no account needed".
Can I see who RSVPed?
Yes. Each reply holds the name the guest typed, and you see them all under Forms on the page's screen, or in the CSV you download. The visit stats only count how many people opened the page.
