Convika documentation

Convika turns HTML files and landing pages made with ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini into public links. Upload your file, build it in the dashboard, or save it directly from an MCP client like Claude or Codex. Pages live on a convika.page address or your own domain, with visitor stats and forms for sign-ups. Anyone opens the link on their phone with no account.

Quick start

  1. 1

Go to app.convika.com to join for free. The Free plan needs no card and gives you 10 AI credits.

  2. 2

    Make your page

Generate a page in the dashboard from a URL or a description, or upload an HTML file you have. Claude, Claude Code, or Codex can also save pages over MCP.

  3. 3

    Check your private preview

Your new page and every change open in a private preview link first. Nobody else sees it until you publish.

  4. 4

    Publish

Click Publish to put your page live at your-page.convika.page. You can also use your own domain once connected.

  5. 5

    Watch results

Open your dashboard to track pageviews, visitors, traffic sources, button clicks, and form entries for each published page.

Quick answers about Convika

Is Convika free?

Yes. As of November 1, 2026, a new account on Free costs $0, needs no credit card, and publishes 1 page at a time. Pro costs $12 a month, removes the Convika bar from the bottom of your pages, and publishes up to 100 pages at a time.

What are the Free plan's limits?

As of November 1, 2026, a new Free account publishes 1 page at a time and keeps up to 10 pages with drafts, with 10,000 page views a month across all pages, 50 form entries shown a month, and 1 custom domain. When a month's page views reach the limit, editing and analytics pause, and 7 days later the pages stop, until the month ends (UTC) or you pay for a plan.

See Free's other limits

How do I publish several pages at once on Free?

With Light, a monthly add-on to Free. As of November 1, 2026, Light costs $3 a month and keeps up to 5 pages live at once, where a new Free account has 1; the Convika bar stays, there's no trial, and it renews monthly until you cancel. A workspace created before October 23, 2026 (Japan time) already publishes up to 10 pages at once and isn't offered Light. You add it on the Plans & Billing page, or when you publish a second page, where swapping the new page in for the live one stays free. A new version of a live page needs none of this: publish it at the same link. Pro, at $12 a month, removes the bar, adds private links and passwords, and publishes up to 100 pages at a time.

Can I use Convika for a business or commercial site?

Yes, on every plan, Free included. As of November 1, 2026, section 7 of Convika's Terms of Service says: “You may use the Service for commercial purposes on every plan, including the Free plan.” You may build pages for clients and charge for the work; what the terms forbid is reselling Convika itself.

Read section 7 of the Terms of Service

What does Made for you cost, and what do I get?

Made for you costs $199, paid once, and only if you approve the preview. As of November 1, 2026, you get a private preview of a landing page with a working form within 2 days, up to 2 rounds of changes before you pay, and 12 months of Pro with no renewal. That Pro has no card on file, so its pages stop as on Free once a month's page views reach 100,000. Convika publishes it within 2 days of payment, or refunds you in full.

Which AI tools does Convika work with?

Any AI that gives you an HTML file. As of November 1, 2026, HTML from ChatGPT, Gemini, or another AI becomes a page when you upload it to convika.com (up to 2 MB), and Claude, Claude Code, and Codex connect to Convika's MCP server at https://mcp.convika.com to save and publish pages for you. ChatGPT connects over MCP only in Developer mode.

Does Convika help my pages show up in search and AI answers?

It helps engines find your pages and shows you where you stand, but it can't promise a place in search results or AI answers. As of November 1, 2026, on Pro and MAX, publishing a page sends its address to IndexNow, which shares it with Bing and the other engines that take part; Google doesn't use IndexNow. On every plan, the AI answer check asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews your own questions when you run it, and counts how many answers name your brand or link to your sites. The addresses your pages are on count without your typing them, and so do the stores and profiles you add as external sites. Each question can point to the page meant to answer it: the check shows whether the answers link to that page and offers the next step, such as having the AI fix the page. Pro includes 100 checks a month and MAX 500, and any plan can buy packs, from $3.

Create a page with AI in the dashboard

Convika's built-in AI writes the page, and you choose the model. You do not need an AI client.

  1. 1

    Open the generator

Go to the sidebar and click "Create with AI". Under "What do you want to make?", choose "Landing page (from a URL or a description)" for a product or service page, or "From a description" or a template for anything else.

  2. 2

    Add your source

Enter a URL (product site, GitHub repo, or App Store listing), describe your page, or provide both for the most accurate draft. Click "Add optional details" to set your audience, main button, and language.

  3. 3

    Choose your model

Each model displays its credit cost, and you see your balance before you begin. The default model is DeepSeek V4.1 Flash, which costs 1 credit for a new page.

  4. 4

    Generate the page

Click "Create my landing page" (or "Make my page" when you started from a description) to see a preview, usually in under 1 minute. The build continues if you close the tab, and your credits return if it fails.

  5. 5

    Edit your draft

Write changes in "What to change on this page", or click "Edit with AI" on the page screen later. Each change produces a new preview and costs 1 credit on the default model.

  6. 6

    Publish your page

Click "Publish" to take the page live. Publishing costs 0 credits.

Free starts with 10 credits, and Pro adds 50 credits a month. Credit packs start from $20 for 100 credits. HTML upload and saving from an AI client over MCP cost 0 credits.

Upload an HTML file

Take an .html file from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or anyone else, and publish it as is.

  1. 1

    Open the upload screen

Go to the "Sites" screen and select "Upload an HTML file". You can also go to app.convika.com/upload-html.

  2. 2

Add your HTML and name the page

Choose an .html or .htm file up to 2 MB, or select "Paste code" to paste the whole HTML. Enter a name for the page.

  3. 3

    Create your preview

Select "Create my preview" to save a private preview. If your HTML points to files on your computer like images, the screen lists them because they will not load online.

  4. 4

    Check and publish

Open your preview and review the page. When you are ready, select "Publish".

Uploading uses 0 AI credits. An uploaded page counts toward your plan's page limit like any page.

Connect an AI client over MCP

Connect Claude, Claude Code, Codex, or another MCP client. Your client can create, publish, and measure pages just like the dashboard. Point it to https://mcp.convika.com and sign in with your Convika account.

Claude (web and desktop)

  1. 1
Open your settings, select "Customize", and click "Connectors".
  2. 2
Click "+" and select "Add custom connector".
  3. 3
    Enter the server address:
    https://mcp.convika.com
  4. 4
Sign in to Convika when prompted.
  5. 5
Start a new chat and ask Claude to build your page in Convika. It will save the HTML to Convika and give you a private preview link (the page stays private until you ask to publish it, and saving over MCP uses no AI credits). If Claude does not use the Convika tools, click "+" in the chat input, open "Connectors", and make sure Convika is turned on.
Make me a landing page for my café opening and save it to Convika.
  6. 6
On a Team or Enterprise plan, an organization owner must add it first under "Organization settings" and "Connectors".

MCP tool reference

Convika provides an MCP server with 52 tools. Your AI client picks the tool from what you ask, so you do not need to know tool names. New pages and changes always go to a private preview first. The publish_site tool goes live only when the call sets confirmProduction, and AI clients are told to set it only when you ask to publish.

Pages

create_landing_page_previewTakes finished HTML to create a site, a first version, goals, and a private preview link in 1 call.
create_landing_pageCreates an empty site for a landing page, with a convika.page address.
create_siteCreates an empty site, same as create_landing_page.
save_page_contentSaves new HTML as the page's next version, leaving the live page unchanged until you publish.
list_sitesLists your pages, with their status and live address.
get_siteShows one page's saved versions, status, and live address.
update_siteRenames a page or changes its language.
get_brandShows your brand's sites and each page on them by path, with its status and address.
list_pagesLists pages by site and path, such as every page under /guides/, a set at a time.
create_pageMakes one draft page at a path on your brand's address. The same path again returns the page already there.

move_pageMoves a page to another path on your brand's address.
create_claim_codeCreates a link that hands a page you built to someone else, moving the page to their account when they sign up through it.

Preview and publish

create_previewGenerates a private preview link for the latest saved version.
publish_siteCreates a private preview by default, and goes live only when the call sets confirmProduction.
publish_pagesPublishes several pages at once after a dry run, which lists each page's live address and warnings and returns the token the real call needs.

get_referral_linkShows your referral link and how many people signed up through it.

Preview, publish, and roll back

Nothing goes live until you publish.

Preview

Each new page or edit saves as a version with a private preview link. These links carry a token and expire. They count toward neither analytics nor your pageview limit.

Publish

Click "Publish" on the page's screen, or ask your AI client. Your page goes live on Cloudflare's network at its convika.page address or your custom domain.

Roll back

Open your publish history and click "Roll back to this version". The live page switches right away. Per page, Free keeps the last 10 versions, and Pro keeps 50.

Unpublish

Click "Unpublish" to take your page offline. Your versions stay in place so you can publish again anytime.

Password

On Pro, go to the page's "Page settings", select "Page password", enter your password, and click "Add password". Use 8 to 128 characters, with letters A–Z, numbers, symbols, and spaces. Visitors see a password screen first on your convika.page address and custom domain. The right password opens the page on that browser for 7 days without asking again. Back on Free, the lock stays active until you click "Remove password", and changing it requires Pro. Preview links do not ask for a password, and they expire.

Published pages keep loading even when the dashboard or the MCP server is down.

Forms

Collect emails and messages on the page itself. Convika stores every entry.

  1. 1

    Add a form

On your page's screen, select "Add a form to my page". Choose your fields: "Email only", "Name and email", or "Name, email, and message". You can edit the labels and the button text.

  2. 2

    Check the preview

Select "Add form to my page". The form sits near the end of the page in a new preview version. Send a test entry to check it. Entries from a preview are not saved.

  3. 3

    Publish and collect entries

Publish your page. Convika emails each new entry to the account owner and lists it under "Forms" in the dashboard. Download entries with "Download CSV" or "Download JSON". To notify teammates, set "Form entry emails" in "Settings". To connect your own tools, turn on "Send each entry to a URL" on the form's entries page. Convika signs each request with an HMAC-SHA256 Convika-Signature header.

From an AI client, create_form makes the form, save_page_content puts it in the page, and get_form_submissions reads the entries.

Free lists 50 entries a month across all forms and emails up to 50. Entries past that are not refused. Each form keeps up to 1,000 more a month. While on Free, kept entries stay out of the list, exports, emails, and webhooks, and the entries page shows the count. Pro has no monthly limit, and kept entries show in the list and exports. If one form gets over 5 entries in a minute or 100 in a day, Convika emails the rest together once a day.

Custom domains

Serve your page from your own subdomain, like www.example.com or launch.example.com. Every plan includes subdomains: Free includes 1, and Pro has no limit.

  1. 1

    Add your domain

On your page's screen, under "Custom domain", click "Connect my domain", or open "Sites" in the sidebar and click "Connect a custom domain". You can also ask your AI client. Enter www.example.com or example.com and click "Add domain": Convika connects both, the page opens at www.example.com, and example.com redirects to it.

  2. 2

    Add 2 DNS records

Create a CNAME record that points your subdomain to Convika. Create a TXT record that proves you own the domain. If your DNS is on Cloudflare, set the CNAME to DNS only (grey cloud).

  3. 3

Wait for the domain to go active

Your records spread across the web in minutes, or up to 48 hours. Your subdomain turns active. Convika issues the SSL certificate automatically, so you configure nothing by hand.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an AI client or MCP to use Convika?

No. You can create a page with the dashboard AI or upload an HTML file, then publish it in your browser. You only need MCP if you want Claude, Claude Code, Codex, or another AI client to handle those steps from your chat window.

What is MCP?

Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI clients like Claude, Claude Code, and Codex use outside services. Convika runs an MCP server so your AI client can save, preview, publish, and measure pages.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. The dashboard AI or your AI client writes the HTML. You describe your page, inspect the preview, and click "Publish".

Does Convika have a drag-and-drop editor?

No. Tell the AI what you want to change using "Edit with AI" or type your changes into your AI client. Convika generates a new preview version. You can publish it or roll back to an earlier version.

Can I connect my own domain?

Yes. Every plan supports custom domains. Enter a subdomain like www.example.com or launch.example.com, then add the 2 DNS records Convika shows on screen. SSL is automatic. The Free plan includes 1, and Pro has no limit.

How many pages can I publish?

Free publishes 1 at a time and keeps up to 10 with drafts. Pro publishes up to 100 at a time and keeps 100 with drafts, and MAX publishes up to 10,000 and keeps 10,000. A workspace makes up to 10 new pages a day (UTC) on Free, 100 on Pro, and 1,000 on MAX. A Free workspace made before October 23, 2026 (Japan time) keeps publishing up to 10.

How do AI credits work?

You spend credits when the dashboard AI generates or updates a page. The cost depends on the model you select. The default model costs 1 credit per new page, while models like Claude Opus 5.5 cost more. Free accounts start with 10. Pro adds +50 a month, and MAX adds +300. Credit packs start at $20 for 100. Uploading an HTML file or saving a page from an AI client costs 0 credits.

Can I choose which AI model writes my page?

Yes. You can select DeepSeek V4.1 Flash (the default), GPT-6 Luna, MiMo V2.6 Flash, GLM 5.3, GPT-6.1 Terra, Gemini 4 Argon, Claude Sonnet 5.5, GPT-6.1 Sol, Kimi K3.1 Pro, Claude Opus 5.5, GPT-6 Astra, or Claude Fable 5.1. Every plan has access to every model. Your credit balance is the only limit.

Can I protect a page with a password?

Yes. Page passwords are included on Pro ($12 a month). Visitors see a password screen, and Convika delivers the page only after they enter the correct password. Turn it on in "Page settings" under "Page password".

What happens if I cancel Pro?

You keep Pro features until the end of your billing period, or until the end of the free trial if you cancel during it. After that, your workspace moves to the Free plan, with its 10,000 page views a month. For Pro started at or after midnight (00:00) Japan time on October 24, 2026 (the 1-year pass included): pages on a private link or with a password go offline, and are never made public. In a workspace created on or after October 23, 2026 (Japan time), Free publishes 1 page at a time, so live pages above what your workspace can have live go back to drafts, keeping the ones you published most recently. Nothing is deleted: choose Pro again, or publish a page as Public within what your workspace can have live. For Pro started before then, your pages stay published as they are, and a password stays on its page (you can remove it on Free; changing it needs Pro).

Put your HTML page online

Upload your file, check the private preview, and publish. Anyone can open your link in a phone browser with no account, and sign-ups or form answers stay in one list.

Publish my page for free
